I Wannabee a Quilter!

Applique Groups

Ann Larsen is continuing her fun applique groups. Please come back to complete previous projects or start the 2009 project. Must complete the beginning applique class or instructor approval (just talk to Ann.) Come join in the fun. This year's project is called "Enchanted Autumn" from The Vintage Spool and is beautiful.

BLOCK OF THE MONTH
Signup fee: $36.00 for the year
We are offering a set of 18 blocks this year. You can pick from 2 color choices and layouts.
Choice 1:
The blocks are taken from the "North and South" pattern. The quilt requires a setting kit with 24 half square triangle blocks and 7 Mason Dixon line blocks plus borders.
Choice 2:
Uses a line called "Stitching in the Woods" from Wilmington Prints. It is a made up of a center section with a printed sampler panel. The panel is surrounded by log cabin blocks and a stop border. The same 18 pieced blocks will then surround the center setting kit.
Both quilts will require the purchase of the "North and South" pattern. You will receive your first two blocks in march. Come in April with your blocks for free. Two blocks per month, March - November. Fun times with games, prizes and lots of great info. We actually do teach you how to sew your blocks!
